AIT tapes - we specialise in transfer / conversion
extraction of data files from Advanced Metal Evaporated
(AME) Data Cartridge to CD / DVD or another hard
drive.
AIT tape format was designed to meet the server
market and utilises a memory-in-cassette enabling
data file locations to be stored for quicker read
write access speeds. Sony introduced a WORM (Write
Once Read Many) variation of the AIT-2 format
to meet data archive criteria. Super-AIT Capacities
rival DLT and Super-DLT tapes.

QTR-1 Travan 400-800MN Sony Mini Data Cartridge tape for transfer - no longer had facility to read Travan Cartridges - tape contains CAD CAM drawings from Edusoft.Tape was written on Windows 95 98 machine. Thank you for recovering the data for us. It really has been a huge help.
