HighPoint SAS Raid Disk Failed data recovery London. EC2Y (MMpearson) This job consisted of 8 x 320GB Sata RAID Hard Drives on 2 x 4 port SAS multi-lane ports. The controller was HighPoint Rocket-Raid 2322 (RAID 0, 1, 5, 10, 50 and JBOD) with Dual External Mini-SAS Connectors to Array enclosure. Highpoint advised the raid aray is corrupt and two sets raids are visible in the configuration screens whereas there should be one single 2TB raid. Log reports Disk Failed. Plugging Device detected. HP QIC-80 Mini Data Cartridge Transfer Inverness, Scotland (TDargie) HP Colorado Backup tapes mini-cassettes 250MB & 680MB. The tapes were marked Jumbo Certified QIC-80 DT 250 Mini Data Cartridges, Verbatim DC2120 Mini Cartouche & 3M MC 3000 XL MiniCartridge Taumat format. Data was stored using HP Colorado Memory Systems Backup Software and was recovered to a CD that could be read by Windows PC or Mac computers. This (the recovery) is excellent. ALLNET ALL-6400 RAID 5 (rebadged Thecus) Cancer Research, Liverpool (FBar) ALLNET ALL-6400 RAID 5 with x 400 GB Seagate Barracuda 7200.8 drives (Rebadged Thecus 4100). Fan failed causing it to overheat which triggered raid failure. Replaced fan unit okay. Raid 5 needs recovering as it was not showing although we can log in. Convert old Word Processor files for use on modern computer Paignton, Devon (FPorter) I had some old 3.5 inch Floppy Disks which had publishing data possibly created in Word Perfect or Word Star. Unable to access the files atall,. Someone had managed to open a file but it was full of strange symbols/characters. The file is text for a bibliography and may contain symbols from an old keyboard that might not be compatible with modern day machines like Apple Mac or Windows XP. I'm writing to gratefully inform you that my friend received the hard disk few days back and thoroughly checked all the important documents that she wanted recovered and was very pleased to find them all there. RAID 5 2x LUN's with NTFS and VMFS partitions. Drive 3 had an error, the unit tried to rebuild but got in a loop of rebuild. Buffalo support said take the drive out, format it and put it back in to see if it would rebuild. Unfortunatly it then thought the drive was ok but showed an error on the Raid and wouldn’t offer a rebuild option.Just to say a big THANK YOU for all your help in getting the data back for me.
