| I would recommend Howard and his team to anyone who has a problem retrieving data from ICT hardware which becomes faulty. In May 06 , I thought I’d lost two years hard work on a USB pen which would not boot-up. I nearly hard a heart attack and could not sleep for three days. I called my ICT friends who told me to find someone ‘good’ to retrieve my data. I looked up different companies on the internet and sent my disc to one. They told me that the data on my USB pen was not recoverable and I there was not the slightest possibility that an ICT engineer in the UK could recover the data. I was totally distraught but decided to try another firm. My husband advised to use Goggle to find a firm which specialised in recovering data from USB pens as well as other hard drives. Thank God , my search discovered Howard at Apex Technology Limited! After briefly speaking to Howard I sent my pen to be investigated and he told me in less than 24rs that he had recover the data on my pen and was sending the information in the post. This was really quick and I was really happy because the data would arrive in time for me to use the information in a headteachers conference I was scheduled to deliver during the following week. . The service at Apex is wonderful, efficient, effective, polite and very reasonable. I will back up all information stored on my USB pens in future but also keep Howard’s company in my address book and will not hesitation recommending Apex to anyone in the future. |

The reality of my situation was pretty grim with having the drive "Crash" but also not being visible in the BIOS, as well as being the primary drive in a RAID-0 stripped array - I really thought my chips were up! As you know, I had hours and hours of work stored on it and I was absolutely distraught when my local computer shop told me there was no chance I would be able to retrieve the data at all, no matter what. I was not hopeful of recovering any data as the hard drive had suffered a serious impact and was not recognised by the computer. When booting the hard disk made loud clicking noise when powered up. I took the drive to an authorised Toshiba dealer who replaced the drive's IDE interface pcb, but this did not yield results and they recommended I send it to a specialist data recovery company.
Having looked into other data recovery companies I was surprised by Apex Technology's low maximum price and 'no recovery, no fee' offer, especially when they ordered a new donor drive to rebuild my failed unit, stating that there would be no fee if my data was not recovered.
After initial contact by phone I delivered my drive to Apex at 8am on a Friday to find that they had already sourced the donor drive and would begin work the same day. After several calls from Apex to keep me informed of progress the data was ready for me to collect on Saturday at 6pm. I was delighted to find Apex had managed to recover all my files, not just folders I had previously selected as a high priority!
Needless to say I am delighted to have recovered my data and highly recommend Howard and Apex Technology to others.

| One of our key computers crashed last Friday (1/10/04), after taking it to the place of supply - they said the hard disc was broken after
approximately six years of use. After speaking to Howard on Saturday
morning we took him the drive. Within 24 hours he had recovered the data
and burnt it onto two DVD's, which he delivered back to us on Sunday -
so we could continue work normally on Monday. Apex technologies provided
us with an excellent service, which we can only commend. Thank you

We had a 48GB IBM Hard Drive in a Dell Inspiron Laptop holding several years of accounts and contract information. After suffering a head crash the IBM hard disk would not boot up the computer.
